Supplier Portal
Supplier Diversity is not only an essential component to our service plan, but also best practice at UGI
We thank you for your interest in doing business with UGI, its subsidiary and affiliated companies! UGI’s Supplier Diversity Initiative provides companies owned and operated by minorities, women, veterans, members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community, small businesses and people with disabilities equal footing to effectively work with us while at the same time, growing their own business.
UGI Decision-Making Criteria
The following is a non-prioritized list of expectations UGI requires of all vendors with whom we do business with:
- Safety
- Cost/Price
- Quality
- Availability/Delivery/Turnaround Time
- Vendor Capabilities
- Vendor Resources
- Vendor Record Tracking
- Vendor Utility Industry
- Experience
- Response Time to Inquiries
Supplier Registration
You will need the following information to complete your registration.
- Company name, DBA name, Dun and Bradstreet number
- NAICS/SIC codes, commodity/category codes, product/service description
- Diversity certificate information, ethnicity, gender, ownership
- Upload supplier documents including diversity certification document
For new suppliers, registration in the portal does not mean that your company is an approved supplier. This database allows our business stakeholders to find your company’s business information and capabilities statement for future sourcing opportunities.
Tier II Reporting
Prime/Tier 1 suppliers are encouraged to report on payments made to small and diverse vendors. If you need help, please send an email to UGI Support.
Tier II spending consists of payments made to companies owned and operated by minorities, women, veterans, members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, small businesses and people with disabilities for the purchase of goods and services, used directly or indirectly, in support of a customer.
